our stay at casa bonay was fantastic! the location was perfect, with a metro station right outside and a safe, vibrant neighborhood. we loved the cozy ambiance of the coffee shop and bar, which became our regular spot for meals. the rooftop area was a nice bonus, even if we wished it was warmer.

The Superior Double Room lacked proper comfort with beds that felt loosely made, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The shower had a powerful flow, but the drainage couldn’t keep pace, leaving the bathroom partially flooded. Also, the room could have included a work desk, and a proper wastebasket would have been beneficial. Noise from slamming doors in the mornings proved disruptive, especially since it was the service room nearby. And honestly, I could do without the air conditioning turning off when I leave—the humidity and heat can be a drag when returning.

The double room with street view was spacious and had a cozy seating area. The bathroom featured great products and the shower had incredible water pressure. Loved the rooftop bar vibes and the awesome breakfast with local dishes. The staff provided lots of tips for nearby attractions. Free bike rentals were super convenient for exploring.

but the shower pressure was so high it was hard to control. we loved the rooftop bar that served amazing tapas and had a really lively vibe. also, the breakfast selection was fantastic with plenty of vegan options available. the staff even packed our early breakfast to go, which was a nice touch.
